Portraits on Mother's Day is always a novel idea, I encourage you to take a look at my special offer linked here "Tampa Bay Mother's Day Special", but there are so many great places to be on this Mother's Day that I've curated a list of 6 additional places for you in no particular order.
Siesta Village & Siesta Key North Beach
Siesta Key is the gorgeous stretch of shoreline that I always show off to friends who come to visit. Siesta Key north beach is a short walk from the village where you can chat over a cup of coffee before or after hitting the beach. The north beach is generally less packed which is nice!
Enjoy a walk together along Tampa's Riverwalk. There are drinks & snacks at the Sail Pavilion, the beautiful Curtis Hixon Park, the Museum, and a dozen more places to see, and things to do.
With casual or fine dining, and a variety of vibrant activities, you have miles of sugar-white sand, crystal clear waters to walk. I recommend strapping your mother into a parasail harness, and floating her up into the sky for a lovely view.
The Great Mother’s Day Race is a 5K run/walk for the whole family with a focus on health and wellness, plus competition. It's always a good time to get off the couch, get moving. This is a fantastic mother's day adventure.
Gelato in St. Petersburg
Health is important, but so is Gelato! Downtown St. Pete has a lovely waterfront, with a very satisfying selection of ice cream, brunch, and more. And to top, you have the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Salvador Dali Musem.
And of course everyone loves macaroons! There are various Le Macaron locations across Florida. Every mom will enjoy these delicious french pastries with a tasty cup of coffee.
Portraits
To spoil your mom, give her the gift of a portrait session. She will be pampered and her natural beauty enhanced. Better yet, book a mother-daughter session for some quality time bonding and get beautiful portraits of the two of you that last. I specialize in making your Mother's Day special.
