If you've been following me for a while, you might know that we moved to FL from WA state in 2013... The purpose of moving to FL was to bathe in sunshine all year long. White sand beaches quickly became our white Christmas and sandals, our year-long footwear, while our families and friends bundled up in heavy coats would send their cold and wet weather reports.
So you can only imagine how natural it was to create this Winter Wonderland styled shoot in New Tampa, FL. It was a blast! At first I wanted to do a small Christmas styled shoot with one little girl... but since the little girl I wanted to photograph happens to have a sister, I thought, I love sisters! Besides, how stinking adorable these two are!!
The idea of snow came from my amazingly creative friend, Cassandra with Ever After Vintage Weddings after helping her with a Nutcracker styled shoot they did in November.
We used SnoWonder Instant snow, which is simply amazing! It's soft and so perfect for the "snowing" effect. It doesn't freeze your fingers and doesn't have an odor. I still have some in the garage, because I keep thinking I might want to reuse it. Haha!
After years of life in cold Polish winters I still enjoy playing in the snow... this time we enjoyed the snow in 90 degree weather.
